Located in central Gulou District, Fuzhou, Guanfeng Pavilion was built in the Song Dynasty. Originally an official pavilion for local governors to overlook the city, observe public customs and inspect local conditions, it stands as a representative relic of old Fuzhou’s pavilion culture.
Restored under protective renovation in recent years to its original ancient look, it is surrounded by small leisure green spaces connecting old alleys and traditional houses.
Retaining thousand-year historical heritage while integrating modern urban leisure functions, it forms a tranquil cultural oasis amid the bustling ancient downtown.
