The moon shines bright, and thousands of homes glow with warm lights. As the Lantern Festival approaches, streets and alleys across Fujian are quietly filling with festive warmth. From the dazzling lantern shows along the Min River, to traditional markets in thousand-year-old towns, from fun family activities for children to romantic night walks with lanterns in hand, you can feel the most authentic flavor of the Chinese New Year everywhere.
At Qishan Lake Park in Fuzhou, the lantern show has been lighting up the nights for more than two months. The event features 12 themed exhibition areas, including mythology, outer space, cartoon insects, and elements of the Year of the Horse, offering a wide variety of creative displays.
