Qida Village, located in Ankai Township of Fuzhou's Lianjiang County, is hailed as "Fuzhou's Most Beautiful Fishing Village." Nestled against a mountain on one side and facing the sea on the other three, the village is also home to the 400-meter-plus Baiyun Mountain.
From its summit lies Qiguanding (a peak named for its resemblance to a battle flag), where you can witness the spectacular panorama of the "Maritime Pasture." In the distance, small islands dot a vast, turquoise sea. Closer to shore, countless fishing rafts and boats are aligned in neat, orderly formations within the aquaculture zones.
