Daixian Waterfall is situated in Shuikou Town, Dehua County, Fujian Province. Originating from the foot of the 1,782-meter Shiniu Mountain in eastern Dehua, it boasts a sheer, single drop of 280.12 meters, earning it the title "The Top 1 Waterfall of East China."
The waterfall plunges down in two distinct streams: the Daixian falls to the east and the Youlou falls to the west.
The entire cascade is a truly majestic and spectacular sight. On a clear day, when struck by direct sunlight, the curtain of water glistens and rainbows flicker in and out of view, resembling a colossal, hanging curtain of pearls or a swirl of colorful, dancing silk.
