Honglin Mansion, or Xinhuli, lies north of Xinhu Village, Bandong Town, Minqing County, Fuzhou, Fujian. Built by Huang Zuobin between 1795 and 1823 (Qing Dynasty), it was named after his eldest son Honglin. Spanning 17,832.28㎡, it consists of three architectural clusters with 35 halls, 13 main gates and 666 rooms. It adopts a column‑reduced chuandou‑style wooden framework with double‑sloped roofs and swallow‑tail ridges. Eaves are decorated with grey clay sculptures and color paintings, with upturned ridges atop walls. The left and right clusters are three‑courtyard compounds with symmetrical side chambers, each fitted with a two‑story square turret at the northeast and southwest corners.
