Liuye Ancestral Hall stands in Qianshang Village, Bandong Town, Minqing County, Fuzhou, Fujian. Designed in classic Central Plains palace style, it covers 12,000㎡ of land with a 3,961㎡ building area, making it Fujian’s largest and best‑preserved ancient clan shrine today.
Boasting grand architecture, it features an imposing tiger‑head gate flanked by gilded carved couplets. The main hall spans 11.3 meters wide with a 9.6‑meter‑high central beam. Three side halls line each side, and four rear halls stand symmetrically—all two‑story structures. Home to generations of prominent figures, it carries profound cultural roots.
Today, it serves as a shared spiritual home for Huang Clan descendants across the Taiwan Strait, a sacred site honoring their ancestor who settled in Fujian, and is hailed as “the foremost of ten thousand shrines” in Fujian, a signature tourist spot in Minqing.
