Shangan Nunnery Pagoda, also known as Wild Goose Pagoda or Anta Pagoda, crowns Talin Mountain (Pearl Mountain) in Wumen Village, Shanggan Town, Minhou County, Fuzhou, Fujian. Built in the Song Dynasty, this solid seven‑storey octagonal stone pavilion‑style pagoda stands 9.2 meters tall. Its finely carved balconies, railings and Buddha niches mark it a prized Provincial‑Level Cultural Heritage Site, enduring wind and rain for centuries. In late 2012, locals proposed turning Pearl Mountain into Tashan Park, which opened in summer 2016 after three years of construction. Compact and culturally rich, it offers a perfect spot for relaxation, exercise and nostalgia.
