Luozhou Confucian Temple is one of only two Confucian temples remaining in the Fuzhou area. It is located in Wucao Village, Luozhou Town, Cangshan District, Fuzhou, and was first built in the 10th year of the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty (1474).
The temple still preserves key buildings, including the Dacheng Hall, maintaining the traditional layout of Confucian temples. Luozhou Confucian Temple is not only a tangible witness of ancient rural education and culture but also an important site for studying the spread of Confucianism in Fuzhou during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
