Taining Jiulongtan

Jiulongtan is located in Taining County, Fujian, within the core area of the Taining World Natural Heritage site and Global Geopark. It earns its name from the nine mountain streams that meander like dragons before flowing into its waters.

Visitors can enjoy a boat ride on the pool, admiring the picture-perfect scenery of valleys, streams, lush greenery, and clear, turquoise water. A highlight is passing through "A Sliver of Sky on the Water", a magnificent, exceptionally long, and narrow gorge that offers a truly special experience. For those who prefer to walk, a 3,200-meter waterside trail circles the mountain, or you can ascend the "Sky Ladder" steps for spectacular panoramic views that stretch out in every direction.
