Linpu Ancient Village

Linpu Ancient Village, located in Chengmen Town, Cangshan District,Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, boasts a long history and a profound cultural heritage. Here, ancient alleys and old streets crisscross, creating a quaint and tranquil atmosphere.

Linpu Ancient Village is also a living history book. It is known as the place where the renowned Neo-Confucian scholar Zhu Xi once lectured, making it a rare and invaluable historical and cultural village in the modern world. Its Lianjiang Academy is the only surviving ancient academy in Fuzhou from the Song Dynasty where Zhu Xi taught.
