Wanfo Temple, formerly known as Qishan Shisong Temple, is located on the southeastern foothills of Qishan in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. It covers an area of about 1,310 mu. The main buildings are in a Song-style design, and the temple also preserves historical relics from the Ming Dynasty, including the Mahavira Hall and cliff stone carvings.
In summer, lotus flowers bloom in the temple’s lotus pond, creating a beautiful scene alongside the ancient buildings. As a center for cultural exchange, Qishan Wanfo Temple actively hosts various cultural events, promoting the integration of traditional culture with modern art. Today, it is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhist believers from China and abroad, and also a key tourist attraction in Southeast China.
