FJSEN report on July 21 (FJSEN correspondent Lin Chuanren) "Kuang, dongdong! Kuang, dongdong! ..."

With the ryhmed beat of ancient gong and drum, the masked performers slowly went on the stage. Wearing exaggerated makeup and dress, the performers moved and jumped to fit in the ancient music. The dance is unpolished yet ancient naive, and it looks as if bringing people to the ancient yet mysterious space...

In summer, at the stage of Cherry Garden, Dabu Post, Shaowu City, the Nuo Dance performed by the artists of He Yuan Village, attracted the audience attention, while the audience either stood or seated.

Nuo Dance is a ritual for the ancient people to eliminate epidemic and evil, as well as pray for receiving fortune and harvest. The dance could be called "alive fossil" , which is listed on the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Programs.
