Fujian Bridge Won the Top Award for Bridge Design and Construction

FJSEN report on April 8 (correspondent Yang Ming, Wang Fenghua, reporter Feng Chuanye) the Shaxi Bridge project on the Zhongxian town of Youxi county to Lixin Town of Jianning county section of the Putian–Yanling Expressway has been awarded with the Eugene C. Figg Award by IBC.

东南网4月8日讯（通讯员 杨铭 王锋华 本网记者 冯川叶）近日，莆炎高速公路尤溪中仙至建宁里心段沙溪大桥工程荣获国际桥梁大会尤金·菲戈奖。

In 2024, China Highway and Transportation Society recommended 13 domestic projects for evaluation, among which the Shaxi Bridge was selected for the Eugene C. Figg Award. It is the only project of the 13 projects awarded, and the 6th Chinese project to receive this honor since the establishment of the award. The Bridge has become the first one in Fujian Province to win the Eugene C. Figg Award.

2024年，中国公路学会推荐国内13个项目参评，其中莆炎高速公路尤溪中仙至建宁里心段沙溪大桥获评尤金•菲戈奖；是本次我国唯一一个、也是奖项设置以来我国第六个获此殊荣的项目。沙溪大桥也成为福建省内首个获得尤金·菲戈奖的桥梁工程项目。

The Shaxi Bridge, located in Shenkou Town, Sanyuan District, Sanming City, covers a total length of 1408 meters. It is an important management project with the Putian–Yanling Expressway for the national expressway network.

莆炎高速公路尤溪中仙至建宁里心段沙溪大桥位于三明市三元区莘口镇，大桥全长1408米，是国高网莆炎高速公路尤溪中仙至建宁里心段项目的重要控制性工程。
