Fujian Province Ranks Top in Amount and Full Types of World Heritage Sites

FJSEN news on Jun 11th (Fujian Daily Reporter Zhang Hui) The Fuzhou Forestry Bureau and the Changle District Government held a cultural and natural event for Heritage Day promotion, with the theme of "Colorful Earth and Diverse Life" at the wetland at the estuary of the Min River on Jun 10th.

东南网6月11日讯（福建日报记者 张辉）10日，福州市林业局、长乐区政府在闽江河口湿地，举办以“多彩的地球 多样的生命”为主题的文化和自然遗产日宣传活动。

The reporter learned from the event that there are 5 world heritage sites in our province, including Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Tulou, China Danxia- Taining Danxia landscape, "Gulangsu: a Historic International Community" and "Quanzhou: China's world marine trade center in Song and Yuan Dynasties", and the amount of world heritage in our province ranked second in the country. At the same time, Fujian is one of the provinces with the full types of world heritage, covering world cultural heritage, world natural heritage, world cultural and natural heritage and other types.

记者从活动上获悉，我省现有5处世界遗产，包括武夷山、福建土楼、中国丹霞——泰宁丹霞、“鼓浪屿：历史国际社区”以及“泉州：宋元中国的世界海洋商贸中心”，数量居全国第二。同时，我省是全国世界遗产类型最齐全的省份之一，涵盖了世界文化遗产、世界自然遗产、世界文化和自然双遗产等类型。
