Fujian and Quang Ninh Celebrate Fifth Anniversary of Twinning(2)

Ambassador Xiong Bo noted that both provinces are coastal powerhouses with similar geographical advantages, thus enjoy unique strengths in facilitating the synergy between the BRI and the Two Corridors and One Belt plan and building a sea-land multimodal transport corridor. It is hoped that the two provinces will take the anniversary as an opportunity to deepen cooperation and further enrich the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

Ambassador Pham Sao Mai said that the friendly exchanges between Quang Ninh and Fujian are of great significance for the development of economic and cultural sectors in China and Vietnam. He suggested full implementation of cooperation in culture, tourism, education and people-to-people exchanges between the two provinces.

During the event, Executive Vice Governor Guo Ningning and Vice Chairman Bui Van Khang signed MoU on cooperation between Fujian and Quang Ninh. The MoU on cooperation between the cultural departments of the two provinces was also inked.
