Thousands of Fishing Vessels in Fujian are into Summer Fishing Ban

On May 1^st, The 2022 action of marine summer fishing ban of Fujian Province in association with joint law enforcement is initiated in Central Fishing Port of Dong’ao Village of Pingtang County . This time, the marine area has an overall of more than 11130 vessels fishing off, the longest takes 4.5 months off. Oceanic and Fishery Bureau of Fujian Province said that in order to secure the smooth enforcement of marine fishing ban in summer, during the period, the departments of the police(maritime), maritime police, etc. will collaborate.

　　当日，2022年福建省海洋伏季休渔暨联合执法行动在平潭东澳中心渔港启动。本次福建海域共有11130余艘渔船休渔，最长休渔时间4个半月。福建省海洋与渔业局有关人员表示，今年伏季休渔期间，将加强同公安（海防）、海警等部门紧密协作，确保海洋伏季休渔顺利实施。
