SANAA, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Warplanes of the United States and Britain launched fresh airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen's southwestern province of Taiz on Sunday night, the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.
The television didn't provide further details as the Houthis rarely disclosed their damage and casualties.
The strikes targeted areas near the Red Sea, according to comments by residents posted on social media.
The U.S.-British coalition has yet to respond to the media reports.
The coalition has been targeting Houthi missile launchers and military capabilities since January to deter the group from attacking international commercial ships transiting the Red Sea.
The Houthis have been attacking cargo ships linked to Israel since November last year in what they said in solidarity with Palestinians caught under Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip.
